Terza vittoria nelle ultime tre partite in casa, quarto risultato utile consecutivo. Il Lebowski fa esattamente quello che doveva fare, e torna ad avere una classifica decisamente più interessante. Partita molto difficile questa, con varie assenze e anche diversi acciacchi stagionali tra i titolari; avversari non di grande qualità ma di grandissima sostanza, che lasciano pochissimo spazio al gioco grigionero: nel primo tempo arriva solo un gran tiro da fuori di Ortega alzato in angolo dal portiere, e poi il lampo che decide la partita: Ferravante spizza di testa un rinvio lungo, la palla filtra tra i due centrali avversari e Lorenzo Calbi si inserisce come un fulmine, il portiere lo atterra, calcio di rigore netto. E dopo tre errori dal dischetto stagionali, stavolta si presenta Lorenzo Bagnoli e insacca con freddezza. Nel secondo tempo, a esser sinceri, un po’ di sofferenza c’è: il San Piero deve cercare di raddrizzare il risultato e produce delle buone folate offensive, su cui è sempre attento Zangarelli, bravo soprattutto in due occasioni. Tre punti davvero sofferti e davvero preziosi, che ci fanno andare con uno spirito decisamente più positivo all’ultima partita stagionale, la difficile trasferta a Montespertoli. Forza ragazzi!

Third victory for Lebowski in the last three home games, and fourth positive result in a row. The team does what it needs to do, and the table looks a lot more interesting for it. This is a tough match, with many absences in the starting XI – some thanks to a bout of seasonal flu. The opposition isn’t of the most refined sort, but they’re determined to leave as little space to the grigioneri as possible. In the first half, Lebowski only manage a great shot on goal by Ortega from outside the box, which the keeper manages to deviate into a corner, and then the decisive episode of the game: Ferravante heads a long pass from the keeper, the ball slips through the opposition defence and Calbi bolts to follow it: the opposing keeper brings him down, and the result is a clear penalty. After three missed penalties this season, this time Bagnoli shows up at the centre of the box, and coldly shoots the ball in. The second half sees Lebowski struggle a little: San Piero need a draw and manage a few good attacks. Zingarelli needs to keep his wits about him and produces a couple of excellent saves. Three hard-won points, and three precious points indeed, that send us off to the final match of the year – a difficult away day in Montespertoli – with a much more positive spirit. Come on lads!
