Un punto d’oro, in casa di una delle squadre più attrezzate del campionato. Prima di iniziare, avremmo sicuramente firmato per un risultato del genere, ma visto che i padroni di casa ci raggiungono solo a pochi minuti dalla fine su calcio di rigore, un pizzico di amaro in bocca rimane. La partita è fin da subito spigolosa e giocata in modo molto attento da entrambe le squadre, che non rinunciano certo all’iniziativa ma in cui le difese prevalgono e non concedono chiare occasioni, fino a una manciata di minuti dalla fine della prima frazione, quando Ferravante spinge la palla in porta alla fine di una mischia furibonda e ci porta in vantaggio. Appena prima del fischio finale i padroni di casa segnano con una deviazione di testa su una punizione da posizione laterale, ma il guardalinee segnala fuorigioco, nulla di fatto. Nella ripresa l’Audax Rufina spinge di più e guadagna campo e iniziativa, ma la nostra difesa non si fa impressionare e non corriamo pericoli eccessivi. Anzi, l’occasione più grande è per Bargelli in contropiede, ma il portiere è reattivo e respinge. A pochi minuti dal termine, su un cross a mezza altezza nella nostra area l’arbitro vede un tocco di mano e concede il rigore ai padroni di casa, calciato molto bene per il definitivo 1-1. Appuntamento a domenica prossima, tra le mura amiche del Nesi, per un altro big match, il derby con la Rondinella.

Before the match we would’ve been overjoyed to get the draw we did, but seeing how Rufina only drew 5 minutes from the end and thanks to a penalty shot, we can’t help but feel a little disappointed. The game starts off difficult, with both teams playing a very watchful and defensive game. The first clear chance comes about five minutes from the end of the first half, when Ferravante pushes the ball in at the end of a melee in the midst of Rufina’s area. A few minutes later, the locals score a header off a free kick, but the linesman waves his flag – offside, no goal. Rufina pushes more at the beginning of the second half and manages to gain ground and momentum, but the Lebowski defense remains concentrated and leaves little space to shoot. In fact, our own Bargelli has the clearest chance of the second half following a quick counterattack, but the Rufina keeper manages to save his shot. A few minutes before the end of the match, the referee sees a hand touch on a mid-height cross through our area: penalty for the locals, goal, 1-1.
