La partita più strana della storia del Centro Storico Lebowski, la prima senza la sua tifoseria sugli spalti, per i motivi che sapete e su cui torneremo a esprimerci nei prossimi giorni. Il primo tempo sembra risentire del clima inedito, e scorre via praticamente senza emozioni. Ma nella ripresa il match si accende e cambia completamente, con i grigioneri che spingono fortissimo e vanno un paio di volte molto vicini al gol, finché Burchielli riesce a deviare in rete un calcio d’angolo portandoci finalmente e meritatamente in vantaggio. Poco dopo gli avversari rimangono anche in inferiorità numerica e la strada sembrerebbe in discesa, ma l’Atletico Etruria tira fuori energie inaspettate, mentre noi sembriamo un po’ stanchi, probabilmente anche a causa di un terreno di gioco davvero non all’altezza. I padroni di casa si fanno vivi varie volte nella nostra area di rigore e colpiscono anche un palo, finché un cross sul secondo palo trova libero Mucci che pareggia di testa. Nel finale ci si prova con il cuore, ma la situazione non si smuove. E dopo il fischio finale i ragazzi vengono tutti a cantare i nostri cori, dove saremmo stati noi, dove eravamo con il cuore. Noi, riuniti davanti allo schermo a Tavarnuzze, ringraziamo commossi.

The strangest game in Lebowski’s history, the first ever without its supporters on the stands, for the reasons you’ve heard of and about which we will be sure to say something over the next few days. The first half seems influenced by the odd atmosphere, and passes by without thrills. But during the second half, the match ignites and changes completely, with the grigioneri on the offensive. Lebowski have a couple clear chances, until finally Burchielli deviates a corner into the net, giving us a well deserved lead. A short while later the opposition is also left with 10 players and the game seems to get definitively easier for us. Atletico Etruria however manages to draw on some unexpected reservoirs energies, while we seem to be quite tired, possibly due also to an inadequate pitch. The locals attack our box a few times and manage to hit a post, until eventually a cross on the far post is picked up by Meucci who nets it with a header and equalizes. Lebowski pour their heart out in the final minutes, but the result doesn’t change and the game ends 1-1. After the final whistle, the lads all go below the stand, where we would have been, where we were with our hearts. We were watching the game on a screen at Tavarnuzze, and we thank everyone, with tears in our eyes.
